Robert Greenwald

Robert Greenwald is a Hollywood producer and director who knows the power of mass communications.

In the past few years, he's done more than become a Tinseltown supporter of progressive causes. With the creation of Brave New Films, Greenwald has transformed movies and Internet clips into progressive advocacy tools that have reached millions of viewers. Indeed, Greenwald is helping to forge an alternative to the bias of the mainstream media through innovation and creativity.

In an October 27, 2005, interview with Greenwald, BuzzFlash noted: "Filmmaker Robert Greenwald is part of the new media -- in this case creating innovative, socially and politically revealing documentaries, and using a new model of distribution at the grassroots level. Our readers best know him for his groundbreaking film, 'OutFoxed,' but he has produced a number of recent films that are important contributions to the pro-democracy, pro-American Constitution movement."
